Antonio Lockhart, MSN, RN-BC, currently serves as the Director of the Information Technology Department at VCU Health, overseeing a team of 35 full-time employees supporting multiple hospitals and clinics. Lockhart successfully led the implementation of an Epic electronic health system, managing key applications like Cupid, Radiant, and Beacon. Previously held roles include Information Technology Application Manager and Senior Clinical Application Analyst at Children's Hospital of Richmond, where significant contributions to electronic health record optimization were made. Lockhart's extensive background in nursing and informatics is supported by a Master's Degree in Nursing Informatics and a Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University.
