Ellen Wood is the CEO of vcfo, Inc., a company established in 1996 that specializes in providing integrated finance, HR, and recruiting support through outsourcing and consulting solutions. Wood has been instrumental in pioneering the "Virtual CFO" concept, offering fractional CFO services. Additionally, Wood served as Chairman of the Board for the University Federal Credit Union from 2015 to 2017 and has been a member and past Treasurer of the Austin Area Research Organization since 2011. Previously, Wood held the position of Executive Vice President and CFO at Capital Network System, Inc. from 1988 to 1996, contributing to the growth of a startup in the telecommunications and internet services sector.
