Thomas Lawson has diverse work experience in the field of baking and system engineering. Thomas is currently working as a System Engineer at VC3 since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Manager at Frost Bake Shop from October 2015 to August 2022. Before that, Thomas was the Executive Pastry Chef at Sterling Affair Catering & Events from October 2013 to October 2021. Thomas also worked as a Baker at Eighty3 Restaurant at Madison Hotel Memphis from November 2011 to July 2014. Thomas gained experience as a Pastry Cook at Emeril's Tchoup Chop from January 2011 to July 2011. Additionally, they served as the Head Baker at Babycakes NYC - Orlando from October 2010 to July 2011.

Thomas Lawson has a diverse education background with a focus on Information Technology, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Accounting and Business/Management. In 2021, they undertook self-directed education to earn a Comptia A+ certification in Information Technology. From 2006 to 2008, Thomas attended Kendall College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts and Sciences (A.A.S.) degree in Baking and Pastry Arts, with the goal of becoming a Baker/Pastry Chef. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2006, they studied at the University of Central Arkansas, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Accounting and Business/Management.
