Janna Willems has a diverse background in publishing and editorial roles, currently serving as Acquirerend redacteur at VBK uitgevers since January 2019. Prior to this, Janna held the position of Hoofd planning en realisatie at Uitgeverij Kok Omniboek from September 2016 to December 2018, as well as various editorial positions starting from Redacteur at Uitgeverij Omniboek/Z&K until March 2016 and at Uitgeefmaatschappij Kok ten Have from September 2007 to March 2011. Early career experience includes an internship at Elsevier in 2007 and a long tenure as Redacteur at Nieuwsblad Het Urkerland from 2001 to 2007. Janna Willems holds a Master's degree in History, Journalism from Leiden University and has also completed a minor in Literair vertalen Engels-Nederlands at ITV Hogeschool in 2018, along with studies at William & Mary in 2005.
