Orel Ron is an accomplished Algorithm Engineer at Vayyar Imaging since July 2019, specializing in the design and development of signal, image, and application-level algorithms for automotive radar, including advanced driver-assistance systems. Notable contributions include implementing Forward Collision Warning and Lane Change Decision Aid System in Piaggio’s ARAS solution, as well as general-purpose automotive imaging radar. Orel has also led infrastructure development and architecture design to ensure quality across projects. Previous roles include Algorithm and System Engineer at The Technological Unit of the IDF Intelligence Corps, focusing on GNSS and RF applications, and Research and Development Engineer in the Israeli Air Force, where Orel engineered electronic warfare and satellite communications systems. Orel holds a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Physics from Tel Aviv University.
