Ian Podkamien is an experienced technology executive with a strong background in automotive and wireless communications. Currently serving as Vice President and Head of Automotive at Vayyar Imaging since March 2016, Ian has previously held various leadership roles at Powermat and Intel Corporation, including VP of R&D and Business Development positions. Notably, Ian contributed to the development of WiGig technology and managed multiple R&D teams focused on WiMax and WiFi products at Intel. Ian's early career includes positions in VLSI design and leadership in the Israeli Navy. Ian holds an Executive MBA from Recanati Business School, Tel Aviv University, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
