Kristy V. has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to 2023. Kristy is currently working as a Senior Process Engineer at Vaxxas since February 2023. Prior to this, they were employed at Ellume from March 2021 to February 2023, where they held roles such as Design Transfer Project Lead, Process Development Engineer, and NPI/Production Engineer. From April 2019 to February 2021, they worked at Field Orthopaedics as a Lead Project Engineer and Design Engineer. Additionally, they worked as an Honours Thesis Student at Field Orthopaedics from December 2017 to November 2018. Kristy also has research experience, having worked as a STEM Ambassador and Research Intern at Queensland University of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Kristy also had research internships at ICETLAB in 2017 and École Polytechnique de Montréal in 2016. Lastly, they gained customer service experience as a Customer Service Assistant at Brodies Bookstore from November 2011 to April 2014.

Kristy V. attended Mount Alvernia College from 2009 to 2013, where they completed their high school education. Kristy then went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Engineering/Applied and Computational Mathematics from QUT (Queensland University of Technology), graduating with first-class Honours in 2018.
