Jenna Eaves, CHST, CDT has a diverse range of work experience in the field of safety. Jenna began their career as an intern at Elford, Inc in 2011, where they gained hands-on experience in site safety visits and identifying safety issues. Jenna also learned about subcontractor interactions and project bidding.
After completing their internship, Jenna joined Safex Inc. as a safety intern, where they shadowed safety consultants on various job sites. Jenna also assisted in preparing safety manuals and newsletters. During this time, they gained knowledge in safety procedures such as LOTO, scaffolding, and incident investigation.
In 2012, Jenna joined 2K General Co. as a safety coordinator and business development manager. Jenna'sresponsibilities included inspecting job sites for safety hazards, developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, and preparing safety materials such as site-specific plans and safety reports.
Following their role at 2K General Co., Jenna worked as a safety director at Vaughn Industries LLC starting in 2016. Jenna collaborated with electrical and mechanical divisions to ensure site safety and conducted safety audits. Additionally, they instructed OSHA 10 and 30 Hour classes for new employees.
Most recently, in 2017, Jenna joined The Ohio State University as an instructor in the CSM program. Jenna taught lessons on site safety plans, hazard analysis forms, and tool box talks to a substantial number of students each semester, following university and OSHA guidelines.

Jenna Eaves, CHST, CDT, obtained their Bachelor's degree in Construction Systems Management from The Ohio State University, where they studied from 2007 to 2012. Jenna has also acquired several additional certifications to further enhance their expertise and knowledge in the field. In 2013, Jenna obtained the Construction Documents Technologist (CDT) certification from the Construction Specifications Institute. Later, in September 2016, they completed the Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Construction course (OSHA 510) and became an OSHA Outreach Trainer - Construction, both from the Mid-America OSHA Education Center. Most recently, in January 2021, Jenna earned the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. These certifications reflect Jenna's commitment to professional development and their dedication to ensuring safe and effective construction practices.
