Jonas Persson is an experienced professional in the field of Electric Power Systems, currently serving as the Head of Section Power Technology at Vattenfall since September 2007, where responsibilities include the marketing of power system studies for large power production units. Prior to this role, Jonas held positions as a Principal R&D Engineer and a Specialist at Svenska kraftnät, focusing on SCADA systems. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and an M.Sc. from Chalmers University of Technology, complemented by a background as a Specialist at ABB and STRI AB, where expertise in power systems analysis and software development was gained.
