Christopher Frierson has worked in the cybersecurity field since 2006. From 2006-2010, they worked as a Senior Research Specialist at FedSources. From 2010-2017, they worked at NT Concepts as an Information Assurance Support Officer and Contract Support Consultant. From 2017-2022, they worked as a Senior Information Assurance Analyst at Tripoint Solutions. Currently, they are a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst for the Defense Health Agency's Joint Pathology Center (JPC) IT Department. During their time in these roles, they have maintained and updated eMASS records under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for various JPC projects, led the system accreditation for RFMIS and REMIS through the entire Department of Defense Risk Management Framework (RMF) process, and led the system accreditation renewal for the EDW through the entire Department of Defense Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) process. Christopher also has a COMPTIA Security+ certification.

Christopher Frierson obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History from Cornell University in 2006. In 2013, they obtained a Security+ certification from CompTIA. In 2021, they obtained an IT Information Library Foundations Certification (ITIL) from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
