Shachar Fienblit is a technology executive with extensive experience in the data storage industry. As a Co-Founder and Chief R&D Officer at VAST Data since November 2016, Shachar has led innovative research and development efforts. Prior to this role, Shachar served as Chief Technology Officer and VP Engineering at Kaminario from April 2009 to November 2016. Earlier in the career, Shachar held the position of Storage Development Architect at IBM from 2000 to 2008 and worked as a Software Engineer at Picker Medical Systems from 1996 to 2000. Shachar holds a BSc in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Haifa, which was completed in 2000.
