Rob Girard is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in technical marketing and infrastructure architecture, currently serving as Field CTO for Cyber Resiliency & Virtualization and Principal Technical Marketing Engineer at VAST Data since October 2021. Prior to this role, Rob held various positions with Tintri, including Principal Technical Marketing Engineer, where passionate advocacy for Tintri products began after initial experiences as a customer. Additional experience includes roles at Minio, Inc., Argee Images, MaplesFS, WWF-Canada, Broadridge, and Northwater Capital Management Inc., with a focus on designing, implementing, and managing complex IT infrastructures. Rob's career initiated at Travelers Guarantee Company of Canada, beginning as a co-op student, showcasing a strong commitment to professional growth and innovation in the field of IT. Rob holds educational credentials from the University of Waterloo and Belle River District High School.
