Katherine E is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in information security and IT infrastructure. Currently serving as CISO and Head of IT Infrastructure & Operations at VARO Energy since August 2021, Katherine has also worked as a Cybersecurity Advisor since March 2018 and held the position of Head of Information Security at Swissport from July 2019 to July 2021. Previous roles include significant leadership positions at BT Global Services, where responsibilities encompassed managing security services contracts and customer relationships, as well as roles at INS, Le Meridien Hotels, and the London Stock Exchange, focusing on project management and strategic delivery across diverse sectors. Katherine holds a Master's degree in Advanced Security and Digital Forensics from Edinburgh Napier University and a Master of Engineering in Operational Research from the University of Birmingham.
