Mackensie Peace is an attorney at Varner & Brandt LLP, specializing in corporate governance, compliance, and risk management. Since April 2020, Mackensie has been involved in drafting and negotiating agreements and providing legal counsel to business clients. Mackensie's prior experience includes serving as a corporate transactional law clerk at Chapman University School of Law, where responsibilities included supporting legal education, and as a research fellow with the GP3 Institute, advising on sustainable development goals. Additional roles at Nola Weis LLP, Montrose Environmental Group, the National Cannabis Industry Association, Macdonald & Cody, LLP, Crossover Health, and the Law Offices of Ben Yeroushalmi provided diverse experience in mergers and acquisitions, government relations, and legal research. Mackensie holds a JD and an MBA from Chapman University and a BS in Gerontology from the University of Southern California.
