Allan J. Fisher, MD, FACOG, FACMG has extensive work experience in various medical and genetic roles. From 2017 to present, they have been a Professor at St. Louis University School of Medicine, where they also serve as the Director of Ultrasound, Director of Perinatal Genetics, and Co-Director of the Fetal Care Institute. Prior to this, they worked as the Medical Director at Variantyx in 2016 and served on the advisory board at Roche Molecular Systems. From 2014 to 2017, Dr. Fisher was the Director of Perinatal Genetics at Elliot Hospital, where they also held positions as an MD and Medical Advisor. Allan J. served as the Director of Perinatal Genetics at ACMG and was a Fellow at the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics from 1996 to 2016. Additionally, Dr. Fisher has been actively involved in fly fishing since 1999.
Allan J. Fisher, MD, FACOG, FACMG completed their undergraduate education at the Saint Louis School of Medicine from 1984 to 1988, obtaining a degree in Medicine. Additionally, they pursued a Residency Program in Obstetrics and Gynecology from 1988 to 1996 at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals. During this time, they also completed two fellowships; one in Maternal Fetal Medicine and the other in Medical Genetics.
