Marko Ullgren is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software architecture, engineering leadership, and project management. Currently serving as the Senior Engineering Lead at Varian since August 2020, Marko oversees the Noona® patient engagement team, focusing on enhancing user experience across various platforms. Prior to this role, Marko held positions as Lead Solution Architect at TietoEVRY, managing a team of architects, and as Team Lead/Solution Architect at Smilehouse Oy, where responsibilities included architectural design and implementation for eCommerce solutions. Marko's earlier experience includes technical roles at CGI, SEVEN Networks, and the European Southern Observatory, along with foundational roles in academia and early career sales. Marko Ullgren holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Helsinki.
