Denise Hoban has extensive work experience in the medical and sales field. Denise is currently working as the Director of Sales Strategy - Medical at Varex Imaging Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Regional Head of Sales EMEIA at Varex from March 2021 to October 2022. Before joining Varex, Denise worked as the European Sales Manager at the same company from May 2017 to March 2021.

Denise also has experience working for other well-known organizations. Denise was a Sales Manager - Europe at PerkinElmer from February 2013 to May 2017. Denise served as the XRF Sales Territory Manager at Oxford Instruments from August 2012 to February 2013. Prior to that, Denise worked at Micro Materials Ltd where they held various roles, including International Business Development Director from August 2010 to August 2012, International Business Development Manager from April 2008 to August 2010, and Technical Sales Engineer from November 2006 to March 2008.

Their career started at NHS, where they worked as a Medical Physicist from September 2000 to November 2006. In this role, they provided performance assessment and optimization of diagnostic imaging systems in clinical use and conducted research on new methods and emerging technologies. Denise is a State Registered Clinical Scientist specializing in Diagnostic Radiology.

Denise Hoban began their education journey in 1996 at The University of Manchester, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics with French. Denise completed this degree in the year 2000.

During their undergraduate studies, Denise also spent a year studying at the University of Montpellier in 1998-1999. Here, they earned a Licence in Physique.

Following their undergraduate education, Denise went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Medical & Radiation Physics at the University of Birmingham. Denise enrolled in this program in 2000 and completed it in 2002.
