Armen Samurkashian is a skilled Guidance, Navigation, and Controls Engineer with extensive experience in the aerospace industry. Currently at Varda Space Industries since September 2023, Armen previously held similar engineering positions at ABL Space Systems and Millennium Space Systems, where leadership in guidance, navigation, and control engineering was demonstrated. An academic foundation includes a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Arts in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Notable contributions as an Undergraduate Researcher at MIT involved serving as Flight Software Lead for the Freespace Lasercom and Radiation Experiment (FLARE) microsatellite project. Additional experience includes volunteer teaching at the Luys Foundation and internships at Northrop Grumman Corporation.
