Tom Nilsen is an experienced professional in the maritime and energy sectors, currently serving in Crude Export & Field Operations at Vår Energi since June 2020. Prior roles include Managing Director at Norsea Fighter AS from July 2018 to June 2020, and various positions at Maritime Logistic Services AS, including Chartering Manager and Senior Marine Coordinator from August 2010 to June 2020. Tom began a career in shipbroking at Jon I. Stie Shipbrokers AS, where work was carried out from May 2001 to July 2010. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Business Administration from BI Norwegian Business School and a Deck Officer Class 5 certification from Stavanger Maritime Secondary School, complemented by studies at the University of Stavanger and Stavanger Katedralskole.
