Per Arve Leirvik has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Per Arve started their career in 1995 at Stavanger & Bergens Rørhandel AS, where they worked as an M.Sc water treatment engineer, specializing in the design and documentation of water treatment plants.
In 1997, they joined Aker Offshore Partner as a Senior Piping Engineer, and continued in similar roles at Aker Kvaerner and Aibel until 2006. During this time, they contributed to various projects, leveraging their expertise in piping engineering.
In 2006, Per Arve joined IKM Ocean Design as a Subsea Engineer, and later that year, they moved to Statoil, where they held multiple positions. As a Senior Engineer, their responsibilities included layout, design, and piping work for the SNOREV project on Snorre A and B platforms. Per Arve also served as an Engineering Manager and Project Engineer for the Vigdis Nordøst project, overseeing topside engineering and the tie-in to Snorre A.
Per Arve's career continued to progress, with roles at Talisman Energy Inc. as a Senior Engineer and at Klart Vann AS as a Project Manager and Engineering Manager. Per Arve managed projects and oversight for engineering activities at Klart Vann AS until 2018.
Since 2018, Per Arve has worked at Point Resources and VÃ¥r Energi as a Project Engineer, contributing their skills and knowledge to various projects.
Throughout their career, Per Arve Leirvik has gained extensive experience in project management, engineering, and design within the energy industry, specifically in piping and subsea engineering.
Per Arve Leirvik completed an Engineer's Degree in Civil engineering and construction at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 1986 to 1989. Per Arve later pursued a Master's Degree in the same field at NTNU from 1989 to 1992.
