Lorenzo Mugnaini has extensive experience in project management and engineering roles in the energy industry. Lorenzo began their career in 2007 as a Project Engineer at Eni North Africa BV, working on the "Production Enhancement" project. Lorenzo later joined Mellitah Oil&Gas BV as a Project Coordinator, responsible for engineering support and managing interfaces between the company and contractors.
In 2010, Mugnaini became a Project Engineering Manager at Eni Venezuela, leading the PetroJunin Project for upstream engineering in an oil field in Venezuela. Lorenzo was responsible for the development of a central processing plant and export/import pipeline system.
Mugnaini then joined ENI LIVERPOOL BAY OPERATING COMPANY LIMITED as a Project Engineering Advisor, overseeing the change of ownership and coordinating CAPEX projects for the Conwy project.
Lorenzo returned to Eni as a Project Engineering Manager in 2013 and later took on the role of Technical Coordinator at Mellitah Oil&Gas BV. In this position, they acted as a Technical Manager for an EPIC project involving a pipeline gathering system and topside modifications.
Mugaini then served as the Development Planning Team Lead at North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC N.V.), leading the Concept Select Study for the Kashagan Field development in the Caspian Sea.
Prior to their current role, Mugnaini worked at Eni as a Project Engineering Manager and then as part of the Project Management team, supporting projects in North Africa and the Middle East.
Currently, Mugnaini is the Team Lead System Engineering Coordinator at VÃ¥r Energi, overseeing the Balder Future Development project, which involves FPSO refurbishment and subsea well collection.
Throughout their career, Mugnaini has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams and project execution from the pre-development phase to completion.
Lorenzo Mugnaini completed their education at Università di Pisa, where they pursued a degree in Chemical Engineering. Lorenzo attended the university from 1994 to 2002 and successfully obtained a Doctor of Chemical Engineering degree. Their field of study was focused on Chemical Engineering.
