Folasade (Sade) Olanipekun-Lewis has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Folasade (Sade) currently holds a position as a member of Chief, a network created to connect and empower women in leadership. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Operating & Community Partnerships at Vantage Airport Group, where they led the development and implementation of partnerships for airport and infrastructure projects.

Earlier in their career, Folasade held various positions in government and education sectors. Folasade (Sade) was an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania, teaching courses on public finance and budgeting. Folasade (Sade) also served as the Regional Director of Government and Airport Affairs at American Airlines, responsible for political and community strategies at a state and local level.

Folasade has held notable leadership positions in Philadelphia, including Chief Administrative Officer at Philadelphia International Airport and Chief Financial Officer for the Office of City Council President. Folasade (Sade) also served as the Chief Financial Officer for The School District of Philadelphia and Director of Finance for the City of Birmingham, Alabama.

In addition, Folasade has experience in treasury and finance roles, having served as City Treasurer for the City of Philadelphia and Director of Finance for the Philadelphia Parking Authority.

Folasade (Sade) Olanipekun-Lewis has pursued various degrees and certifications throughout their education history. Folasade (Sade) obtained a Master of Government Administration (M.G.A.) from the Fels Institute of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. Folasade (Sade) also earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Temple University - James E. Beasley School of Law, specializing in Law. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics from The Graduate Center, City University of New York. Folasade (Sade) also holds an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Marketing Management & Sales from City Tech, CUNY. Additionally, they acquired a General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) from Maryland Comprehensive Secondary School in Lagos, Nigeria.

In terms of certifications, Sade Olanipekun-Lewis completed the Black Executive Leadership Program at McKinsey & Company in August 2021. In June 2017, they became a Fellow of LEADERSHIP Philadelphia.
