Koen Callewaert is a seasoned professional in the textile industry with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as the Creative & Technical Design Manager at Grandeco Wallfashion Group since June 2018, Callewaert also holds the position of R&D Project Engineer in textile development at NV Michel Van de Wiele since August 2015. Previously, Callewaert was the R&D/Production Manager at VERSTRAETE & VERBAUWEDE FABRICS from August 1998 to August 2015, as well as at Rubis NV from August 1994 to August 1998. Callewaert earned a master's degree in Industrial Engineering in Textiles from CTL Gent, where studies were completed between 1989 and 1993.
