Brandon Soubasis, Ph.D., is a Senior Research Scientist at Vanderbilt University, specializing in the application of deep learning and high-performance computing to advance AI in scientific research. With a Ph.D. in Physics from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Arts in Physics from Fisk University, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Texas State University, Brandon possesses a strong academic foundation. Previous experiences include serving as a Ph.D. Research Assistant focused on particle collision data analysis at CERN and mentoring students in the development of new physics models, and as a Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, where Brandon contributed to the design and commissioning of advanced radioactive detectors. An internship at Fermilab further showcased Brandon's expertise in particle detector design and development.
