Dr. Ryan Prox, O.O.M., currently serves as a Senior Advisor for the European Union's project on Advancing Reforms in the Justice Sector, focusing on enhancing the capabilities of criminal justice institutions. In addition, Dr. Prox holds the position of Legal Advisor at the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS), contributing expertise to governance and the rule of law, particularly in combating crime and managing security challenges. With extensive experience at the Vancouver Police Department as a S/Constable in Charge of the Crime Analytics Advisory & Development Unit, as well as academic roles as an Adjunct Professor at Simon Fraser University and a Program Advisory Council Member at multiple institutions, Dr. Prox combines practical law enforcement knowledge with a strong academic foundation, including a Doctorate in Law Enforcement and Security. Past roles include serving as a Senior Expert for an EU project on fighting organized crime, a Senior Trainer for the International Criminal Court, and involvement in various European Commission initiatives.
