Rachelle DesRochers is an experienced Information Technician at Vancouver Island Regional Library, providing library and Makerspace services since July 2019, and instructing customers on various technologies such as 3D printing and video recording. Prior to this role, Rachelle served as Operations Coordinator for the Ontario Library Association, where responsibilities included bookkeeping and office administration. Rachelle also worked as Office Manager and Research Associate at Dysart and Jones Associates, a Policy Programs Assistant at the Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services, and as a Server at Pilar's Catering. Notably, Rachelle's early experience included serving as an Arts and Crafts Specialist at Camp White Pine. Rachelle holds a Library and Information Technician diploma from Seneca Polytechnic, as well as additional qualifications in Micro Applications for Business, Accounting Fundamentals, and Baking and Pastry Arts Management from various institutions.
