Akber Mohamed holds an MBA and has extensive experience in project management and systems analysis, currently serving as Program Manager and Systems Analyst III at Vancouver Police Department since January 2018, overseeing significant infrastructure projects. In addition, Akber is a faculty member at Vancouver Community College and operates Akber Mohamed Inc. as a project management contractor since 2007. Akber has previously held roles including Senior Project Management Office Lead at HSBC and Program Manager at Schneider Electric, managing multimillion-dollar programs and coordinating teams. Akber is also active in the Project Management Institute's Canadian West Coast Chapter as an instructor, specializing in various project management courses. With over 15 years of progressive experience across multiple organizations, Akber combines technical expertise with strategic leadership in project management.
