Andrew Smith is a highly accomplished professional with extensive experience in both medical and engineering fields. Currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Executive Officer at JVPLabs (JRAS Medical Inc.) since May 2016, Andrew also works as an Emergency Medicine Physician at Vancouver Coastal Health from August 2019. Prior to these roles, Andrew was an Associate Professor at Memorial University of Newfoundland from September 2017 to August 2019. Andrew's educational background includes a Doctor of Medicine degree obtained from Memorial University (2001-2005), a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (1999-2001), and a Bachelor's degree in the same field (1993-1999).
