Remote, USA (Preferably based in the USA for the past 3 years, originally from Bangladesh)

About the Role

We are looking for a Community & Marketing Manager to help expand our footprint within the Bangladeshi diaspora in the United States. The ideal candidate will have experience in community building, marketing campaigns, and strong connections with the Bangladeshi diaspora. In this role, you will drive community engagement initiatives, partner with local influencers, and implement marketing strategies to elevate our brand presence within this target audience. This is a part-time consultant role with potential for full-time engagement in the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Community Engagement: Develop and execute campaigns to connect with the Bangladeshi diaspora in the U.S., enhancing awareness and brand loyalty.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Create and implement community-focused marketing strategies, increasing brand visibility within target communities.
  • Partnerships: Build strong relationships with Bangladeshi diaspora influencers, community leaders, and organizations.
  • Event Management: Plan and organize community-focused events to engage with the target audience.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and product teams to ensure community feedback informs our strategy.

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years in community building, marketing, or related roles.
  • Deep ties to the Bangladeshi diaspora in the U.S. The ideal candidate has grown up in Bangaldesh before migrating to the U.S.
  • Experience in running community engagement campaigns with measurable success.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and execute community events.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
