April Aycock has a diverse work experience with a focus on marketing and communications. April began their career at Van Metre Companies in 2015 as a Marketing Coordinator, where they assisted with various marketing responsibilities. In 2019, they were promoted to Senior Marketing Communications Specialist. Currently, they hold the role of Marketing Communications Manager at the same company, a position they started in January 2023.

Prior to joining Van Metre Companies, April worked at Digitek Computer Products from 2008 to 2014. April started as a CSR, where they improved customer relations and assisted with order entry and sales. April later became a Marketing Coordinator, overseeing customer loyalty programs and implementing targeted marketing campaigns.

April Aycock obtained their bachelor's degree in Art History from The University of Alabama between 2002 and 2006.
