Ashley Allers, MBA, CRCE has extensive work experience in various roles within the healthcare and finance sectors.
From 2004 to 2007, Allers worked as an Administrative Assistant of Information Systems/Data Entry Specialist at LifeServe Blood Center.
In 2007, Allers joined Central College as a Loan Advisor, before transitioning to the role of Perkins and Institutional Loan Officer in 2008. During this time, Allers managed the college's institutional and Perkins loan funds, handled billing and collections, and prepared annual reports.
In 2012, Allers joined Van Diest Medical Center as a Business Office Manager. In this role, Allers oversaw patient account representatives, handled insurance claims and patient bills, and managed patient access processes. In 2016, Allers transitioned to the position of Director Revenue Cycle, responsible for managing operations and ensuring accurate and timely information flow throughout the organization.
Recently, Allers has been serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Van Diest Medical Center, starting in April 2022.
Apart from their work at Van Diest Medical Center and Central College, Allers has also served as a Board Member at NAHRI since 2021 and as a Board Member - Sponsorship Chair at Iowa AAHAM since 2017.

Ashley Allers earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting from Upper Iowa University between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a BA in Business Management with an emphasis in Business Administration from Central College from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Ashley Allers holds an AA degree in Accounting and Information Technology from the American Institute of Business, which they obtained from 2004 to 2006.
