Kristian Miller

Economist/data Scientist - Steam at Valve

Kristian Miller is an experienced economist and data scientist currently employed at Valve Corporation since May 2012, focusing on business research related to platform growth, sales performance, fraud prevention, and pricing strategies for the Steam platform across multiple currencies. Prior to this role, Kristian served as an economist for Team Fortress 2, analyzing player interactions and economic theories in online environments. Kristian's academic background includes a Master's of Science in Applied Economics and a Bachelor's of Science in Finance and Economics, both from Montana State University-Bozeman. Additionally, valuable experience was gained as a Graduate Research Assistant at Montana State University and as a Research Intern with the United States Senate Finance Committee.
