Mark Friedman is a seasoned executive in the energy sector, currently serving as CEO of Valprime L.L.C. since March 2013, where a key achievement includes the successful integration of NRG’s $2.6 billion acquisition of Edison Mission. Previously, Friedman held the position of Head of Commercial Operations at EDF from June 2019 to August 2022, where strategic business assessments and a comprehensive digital transformation plan were developed. Friedman’s extensive experience also includes roles such as Director at Sirius Solutions, Vice President of Risk at Calpine, and various positions at TXU and Enron, where significant contributions to risk management, structuring, and transaction valuation were made. Friedman earned an MBA from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
