Laura Waite is an experienced health and physical education educator with a diverse background in teaching and support roles across various educational settings. Currently serving as a Middle School and High School Health and Physical Education Teacher at Valley Forge Educational Services since August 2021, Laura previously held positions at Pennridge School District and Palco, Inc. Notable contributions include adapting physical activities for individuals with special needs while working as an Ability Programs Specialist at YMCA of Bucks County and as a Health and Physical Education Teacher for students with autism at Timothy School. Laura also has experience as a substitute teacher and working with students with behavioral, emotional, and intellectual disabilities. Laura holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education/Fitness from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
