Michelle A. Lopez is a seasoned professional in business development, marketing, and communications with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as Business Development Manager at Valley Baptist Health System since January 2023, Michelle previously held the role of Director of Development and Communications at Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation and Chief Communications Officer for the City of Pharr, TX. Prior positions include Marketing Coordinator at Valley Baptist Health System, Director of Marketing and Communications at Cameron County Regional Mobility Authority, and Director of Public Affairs & International Development at Brownsville Economic Development Council. Michelle began their career as a News Anchor/Reporter at KVEO-TV. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of South Florida, completing the degree in 2007.
