Deb Conroy has held a variety of roles in their professional career. From 1990 to 1992, they worked as a Layout Designer at GE Aerospace, where they established and administered an engineering design and simulation network using Sun Microsystems products. From 1992 to 1995, they worked as a Systems Programmer at Lockheed Martin, where they were a team leader of a cross-functional work group responsible for the operation, maintenance, and integrity of a heterogeneous UNIX based distributed networks. From 1995 to 2011, they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer at Strategic Technologies, providing 7x24 service and ensuring continuous availability of customers' mission-critical environments. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an Implementation Engineer at Mercury Z, where they were responsible for the migration of a mid-sized DSL provider's ATM network. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Customer Advocate/Technical Support at InspectionXpert Corporation, providing support for SaaS applications to global users, resellers, and prospects. Finally, from 2016 to the present, they have worked at Validic, holding various roles including Engineering Manager, Product Manager, Integrations Systems Analyst, and Senior Technical Support Analyst/Team Lead.

Deb Conroy obtained their Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified in 2017 from Wake Technical Community College. In 2008-2009, they obtained a Certificate in Web Development from Wake Technical Community College. From 1990-1994, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Syracuse University. Lastly, they obtained an AAS in Computer Graphics Engineering Technology from Alfred State College - SUNY College of Technology from 1988-1990.
