Gerry Carroll is a seasoned leader in the leisure and hospitality industry, currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Valiant Pub Company since January 2021. Previously, Gerry held various high-level positions including Experienced CEO and Non Exec from May 2020 to January 2021, and founded Hawthorn Leisure, successfully growing it from a startup to the 7th largest leased and tenanted pub company in the UK, generating over £25 million EBITDA. Additional experience includes roles as CEO at Tor Consultancy & Management Ltd, Managing Director at Ei Group with full P&L responsibility for approximately 3,500 pubs, and Managing Director at Little Chef where Gerry achieved a successful exit valued at £83 million. Earlier career positions include leadership roles at Warner Bros. Entertainment, Mitchells & Butlers, Crowded House Pub Company, and Whitbread, focusing on operations throughout various segments of the pub and restaurant industry. Gerry is an alumnus of Glasgow Caledonian University.
