Ricardo Valero serves as the Principal CEO of Valero y Valero since April 2002 and has held the position of Gerente General at Grupo Valero y Valero since January 1996. In addition to these roles, Ricardo Valero is a board member of Cámara de Comercio Ecuatoriano Americana AMCHAM Guayaquil since June 2019 and represents Ecuador as a member director at the International Federation of Customs Brokers Associations since January 2019. As Secretary General of the Asociación Internacional de Operadores Económicos Autorizados Aduaneros y Logísticos since June 2016, Ricardo Valero previously acted as the representative for Ecuador at ASAPRA from April 2015 to May 2019 and served as Past President of the Federación Ecuatoriana de Agentes de Aduana during the same period. Ricardo Valero's educational background includes a Diplomatura in Economía de la Escuela Austriaca y Políticas Públicas from Universidad Espíritu Santo, a law degree with a specialization in corporate law from the same institution, a Diplomado in Logistics and International Marketing from Universidad del Mar, and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration from Universidad de Palermo.
