Chad Smith is a Field Market Development Specialist at Valent U.S.A. LLC, serving Iowa and Missouri since May 2013, with expertise in evaluating herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and biorational compounds through field, greenhouse, and laboratory studies. Previously, Chad held the position of Research Scientist II, focusing on experimental and registered chemicals. Prior experience includes work as a Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, where dissertation research examined herbicide drift and antagonism in cotton, and roles at the University of Missouri as a Research Associate and Graduate Research Assistant, concentrating on weed control in various crops and conducting herbicide screening trials.
