Rony Engel began their career in 2011 as a UAV Flight simulator instructor in the Israeli Air Force, where they spent 3 years teaching and instructing in the "Shoval" UAV. Rony then joined Valens in 2021 as a VLSI Design Engineer.

Rony Engel attended Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2015 to 2020. During this time, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. No specific degree was mentioned.
