Stacy Kennedy, P. Geo, has over 15 years of experience in the mining and geological sectors, currently serving as the Director of Manitoba Operations at Vale since May 2007. Previously held positions include Manager of Health, Safety and Risk, Interim General Manager, and Manager of Thompson Mines at Vale, demonstrating a strong operational leadership background. In addition to roles at Vale, Stacy Kennedy has been involved with the Mining Association of Manitoba Inc. since 2019, currently serving as President and Mine Rescue Co-chair. Early career experience includes fieldwork with the Newfoundland and Labrador Geological Survey, focusing on geological mapping and hazard risk assessment. Stacy Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Honors in Geological and Earth Sciences from Memorial University and has completed studies in Equine Studies at the University of Guelph.
