Moacir Santiago is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in maintenance management, project coordination, and capital projects within the mining and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Technical Responsible Master Engineer at Vale since May 2003, Moacir has held various roles, including Project Master Engineer and Senior Engineer of Capital Projects, where responsibilities included overseeing large-scale revitalization and expansion projects, managing significant capital expenditures, and implementing predictive maintenance systems. Moacir has also contributed to academia as a teacher of Production Engineering at UNDB, where courses focused on manufacturing processes and project management. A graduate of Universidade Federal de Pernambuco with an MBA from FGV, Moacir possesses a strong foundation in mechanical engineering and business management.
