Fabio Guastala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as General Manager at Vale since 2010, Fabio has also held positions as Engineering Manager and Senior Engineering Coordinator within the company. Prior experience includes a role as Manufacturing Engineer at Roca Group (2008-2010) and Application and Development Engineer at Norsk Hydro (2007-2008). Fabio began a career in engineering as a Trainee at EMPA Switzerland (2006-2007). Academic qualifications include a Management Executive Program from The University of Akron (2019), a Post-MBA in Business Intelligence from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas (2016), an MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas (2014-2015), a Master's in Materials Engineering from UFOP - Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (2011-2012), and bachelor's degrees in Materials Engineering from ETH Zürich (2006-2007) and UFSCar - Alumni (2002-2007), along with a degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional del Litoral (2005).
