William Skwirut is an accomplished aerospace engineering professional with a strong track record in design, project management, and team leadership. Currently serving as Aerospace Engineering Group Lead at Valcor Engineering Corporation since August 2019, William oversees a team of engineers while maintaining comprehensive design responsibilities. William has successfully led the development of numerous aerospace valves and has implemented an onboarding process for new hires. Previously, William co-founded Hudson Space Systems and contributed to Castle Point Rocketry, designing and building a rocket with the aim of achieving a suborbital flight. With experience as a STEM intern at various organizations and a background in mechanical engineering, including dual degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology, William has demonstrated expertise in design engineering, cross-department collaboration, and innovative problem-solving within the aerospace sector.
