Georgios Markakis has a diverse work experience spanning from 2016 to present. Georgios started their career as a Trainee Economist at the Town Hall of Nafplion from August 2016 to October 2016. From September 2019 to April 2021, they worked as a Data Analyst - Marketing Mix & Forecasting at IRI. Georgios then joined Accenture Greece as a Data Engineer in April 2021 and worked until April 2023. Currently, they are working as a Data Analyst at VAIX, a Sportradar Company, starting from April 2023.

Georgios Markakis holds a Master's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Piraeus, where they studied from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business, majoring in the Department of Economics, from 2012 to 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Georgios has also earned several certifications to enhance their skills in data analysis and related fields. Georgios completed the "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals" certification from Microsoft in March 2022. Moreover, they have obtained several certifications from Coursera, including "Data Analysis with Python", "Data Visualization with Python", "Databases and SQL for Data Science", "Python for Data Science and AI", and "Tools for Data Science" in September 2020. Georgios also completed the "Microsoft SQL for beginners" certification from Udemy in July 2019.
