Gemma Harris has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles. Gemma started their career as a Data Entry Assistant at NCRL in 2006. Gemma then worked as an e-Learning Technician at Castle College in 2007. In 2008, they joined StoreFeeder / WebCatch as a Front-end Developer, Web Designer, and later became the Creative Director.
In 2013, Gemma started working at PureBlue as the Lead Front End Developer, where they collaborated with User Experience designers and project managers to ensure user goals were met. Gemma completed front-end web development for clients within the Magento framework and worked with back-end developers to produce production-ready websites. In the same year, they also began working as a Freelance Front-end Web Developer/Designer at Another Web Design, where they honed their skills independently until 2018.
Gemma joined The Conran Shop in 2015 as a Senior Front End Developer/Web Manager, where they worked closely with the Head of Ecommerce and Marketing to improve the web presence. Gemma took the lead on web development projects, managed external web development agencies and third-party suppliers, and collaborated with in-house designers and marketers to enhance the customer experience.
In 2016, they joined Vaimo as a Lead Frontend Web Developer, working in a team of project managers, quality assurance testers, and back-end developers to deliver ecommerce projects on time and within budget. Gemma used SCRUM processes to maintain an agile workflow and coordinated estimations and project breakdowns for streamlined project delivery. Throughout their time at Vaimo, Gemma progressed to roles such as Senior Team Lead, Technical and Services Manager, and currently holds the position of Head of Engineering.

Gemma Harris attended Highworth Grammar School from 1994 to 2001. Gemma then pursued a BA (Hons) degree in Digital and Lens Media from the University of Hertfordshire from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, Gemma has obtained certifications in Magento 2 Front End Development and ScrumMaster, as well as Online Marketing Fundamentals and Magento 1 Front End Development.
