Fred Vaurs is an experienced IT security professional with a focus on information security and risk management. Currently serving as a Security Officer and Risk Manager at Vaimo since May 2017, Fred is responsible for the organization's IT security posture and the formulation of strategies to protect information and technologies. Prior to this role, Fred was the PCI Certification Manager at SAB, overseeing the adherence to PCI standards and successfully achieving certification. Earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Account Manager in the cybersecurity field at Dimension Data, as well as various positions in IT administration and management starting from 1994. Fred holds a Master of Science degree in Computer Engineering from INSA Toulouse, earned in 1993.
