Vijay K. Gurbani has extensive work experience in the field of data science and computer science. Vijay K. is currently working as the Chief Data Scientist at Vail Systems since April 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the Principal Data Scientist at the same company from September 2018 to March 2019.

Before joining Vail Systems, Vijay held various roles at Bell Laboratories, starting as a Computer Consultant in 1998 and progressing to become a Data Scientist and Research Scientist (Distinguished Member of Technical Staff). Vijay K. worked at Bell Laboratories from 1998 to 2018.

In addition to their industry experience, Vijay has also taught as an Adjunct Professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology since 2009. Vijay K. also served as a Research Fellow at the University of Luxembourg from 2014 onwards.

Vijay's career began as a Unix programmer at Bradley University in 1988.

Vijay K. Gurbani obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they earned an M.Sc. and a B.Sc. in Computer Science from Bradley University. The exact years of their education are not provided.
