About the Role:

The Vice President of Human Resources (VP of HR) is a senior executive responsible for developing and implementing strategic HR plans and policies to support the company’s mission and strategy. The VP of HR will focus on creating policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and effective people management skills.

How you will contribute:

  • Policy and Procedure Development: Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
  • Strategic HR Planning: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement strategic HR plans that align with the company’s mission and goals.
  • Compliance Management: Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and best practices. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes. Develop and implement talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain top talent.
  • People Operations: Oversee all aspects of people operations, including employee lifecycle management, HRIS, and HR analytics.
  • Organizational Culture**:** Design and implement programs to improve organizational culture and employee engagement. Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Employee Relations: Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and conflict resolution. Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Employer Branding: Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company’s employer brand and attract top talent.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems to evaluate and improve employee performance. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs. Conduct regular reviews to ensure market competitiveness.
  • M&A and Integration: Oversee HR aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Financial Management: Manage the HR budget and demonstrate the ROI of HR initiatives.
  • Training and Development: Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • External Relations: Build and maintain relationships with industry peers and external HR consultants.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI): Lead and support DEI initiatives and programs to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Monitor HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Provide regular reports to the executive team.
  • HR Team Leadership: Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure high performance and alignment with the company’s goals.

Who we are searching for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 10 years of experience in human resource management, with a focus on compliance, policy development, and strategic planning.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with HR information systems and software.
