David DesAutels has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as a BD Contractor and EVP of Corporate Development at VAALCO Energy, Inc., focusing on M&A, corporate strategy, and Gabon Etame Marin development since July 2017. Additionally, David operates as a franchise owner of Anytime Fitness and has served on the Board of Directors for LION195 Against Trafficking, Inc., which aids child survivors of human trafficking. David's previous roles include Director of Development Geoscience at Noble Energy, President of Zavanna Canada Corporation, and various geoscience positions at Oxy and Santa Fe Energy. David holds an MS in Geology from the University of Minnesota.
